How do you maintain a balance between your professional responsibilities and personal life?

Finding balance is definitely a challenge, especially with the intensity of running two companies. But I’ve learned to set boundaries and make time for personal reflection, relaxation, and physical activity. Sometimes, you just have to get things done, but it’s also crucial to actively take breaks to clear your mind. Yoga plays a central role for me. It helps me center myself and recharge. It’s also essential to really know yourself, to recognize your needs, stress behaviors, and preferences, and to actively take care of them. I’ve learned that it’s key to listen to yourself and know when to take a step back in order to stay successful and balanced in the long run.

Who has been a significant influence in your entrepreneurial journey?

I’ve been inspired by various mentors, but I’d say that the people who have truly shaped my entrepreneurial journey are those who have continuously pushed the boundaries of what’s possible and not, while staying true to their values. Whether it’s the founders of companies like Apple or Tesla, or people with much life experience, they’ve shown me that success is all about vision, perseverance, and the willingness to challenge the status quo.

However, it’s not always a single person who serves as a role model. Since 5-6 years, I’ve had a clear vision in my mind that I’ve been working towards, and I stay focused on it. This vision consists of various character traits and serves as an ongoing goal that I maintain. At the other site, this is all about luck. Everybody could do what I am doing… you just have to do it.

What personal habits or routines contribute to your success as a founder and managing director?

I believe in discipline and maintaining a clear focus. I start each day with a routine that prioritizes mindfulness and physical well-being, including yoga in the morning and Freeletics in the evening. I also take one day a week off, and I plan deep work sessions to stay focused on critical tasks. I also make time to read and continuously learn, both in and outside of the technology and business world. This combination of mental clarity, physical health, and continuous learning keeps me sharp and focused. I’ve noticed that if I watch a film, I tend to get stressed, as my mind needs to stay active. When things get overwhelming, I build Lego *laugh it helps me calm my mind and shift perspective. Currently, I finished my Nasa Rocket.

How do you stay motivated during challenging times in your business?

During tough times, I remind myself why I started this journey: to create something that has the potential to change society. It’s easy to get discouraged by setbacks, but when I step back and look at the bigger picture, it re-energizes me. For me, this whole journey is a marathon, not a sprint. Anyone can give up, but I’ve never given up. Never. This perspective fuels me to keep moving forward and believe in my vision, even when things get tough. Also, you need good people around you. If you weren’t leading housedoll.de and Nova Tech Industries, what alternative career path might you have pursued?

I think I would have pursued something in psychology. I find it absolutely fascinating, especially the way people think, how emotions are processed, and how to better understand human behavior and needs. Maybe something with fashion could be another way. I like suits. Good Italian suits.

If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?

I would love to have dinner with Hypatia of Alexandria, one of the first great thinkers in history. She was a scientist and mathematician who lived in a time when it was nearly impossible for women to make their mark in these fields. If I met her today, I would ask her thoughts on the challenge of pushing innovations in a conservative world, especially in a field like ours, the Sex Tech industry. Because even today, we face resistance, especially in an environment that is still deeply rooted in traditional values and rules about investments.
