One of the biggest challenges I’ve encountered in managing the chat has undoubtedly been the complexity and diversity of international regulations. Some of the most unexpected and impactful collaborations were born at the TES Lisbon event in February 2024. Attending that event was a game-changer. It allowed me to meet many industry professionals in person, build new relationships, and expand my network. As a result, I experienced a significant increase in my business volume thanks to the new collaboration opportunities I seized. Of course, before this experience, I had already collaborated with prominent figures in the industry. I’ve always had a very fruitful relationship with the founder of one of the most popular chat sites. We’ve shared ideas, experiences, and best practices, creating a kind of mutual mentorship. However, the impact of the Lisbon event was particularly significant, opening doors to new opportunities and confirming the importance of networking in our industry.

My interest in the adult industry stemmed from a curiosity about technology. I have developed some software solutions that were so appreciated by my company that they were integrated into the core framework used at the company level. To completely unplug after an intense day, I devote myself to music. Playing the piano is my preferred way to relax and recharge. I often find myself improvising or composing, allowing myself to be guided by my emotions and the sensations of the moment. I would say that my true mentors have been the people I’ve met at various industry conventions. At these events, I’ve had the good fortune to meet passionate and knowledgeable professionals who are willing to share their experiences and knowledge. What has always impressed me about this industry is its openness to dialogue and collaboration, even among “competitors.” It’s a very stimulating environment where there is a sense of positivity and mutual support. Unlike other sectors, where competition is often fierce, here there is a genuine culture of sharing that has greatly inspired me in my professional journey.

What’s a book, film, or piece of art that has had a significant influence on your life or work?

In an era where time seems to be speeding up, I sometimes find refuge in books. Among the readings that have most impressed me, there is certainly Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth. This epic novel, set in the Middle Ages, fascinated me by its ability to paint a vivid picture of humanity, with all its frailties and its extraordinary capacity for resilience. I greatly appreciated how the author describes the impact of historical events on the lives of individuals and how, through generations, values, traditions, and the thirst for knowledge are transmitted. The story of these men and women who struggle to survive, innovate, and build a better future has inspired me to reflect on my role in the world and on the importance of persevering in the face of adversity.
In particular, I was struck by the tension between tradition and innovation, a theme that I also find in my work. The novel reminded me that progress is the result of a continuous dialogue between the past and the present, and that to face the challenges of the future it is necessary to know how to value one’s roots.

How do you feel about the public’s perception of the adult industry, and what do you wish more people understood about it?

Public perception of the adult industry is often distorted by prejudices and taboos deeply rooted in our society. Although it is a widespread industry, there is still great reluctance to talk about it openly. Sex, despite being a fundamental part of human life, is still considered an embarrassing or even immoral topic in many cultures. I believe this reluctance is largely due to a lack of adequate sex education. Both at home and at school, the topic tends to be avoided, leaving an informational void that is often filled by unreliable sources. This educational gap has very serious consequences, such as the increase in phenomena like revenge porn, which demonstrate how important it is to address the issue of sexuality in an open and transparent manner. I would like more people to understand that the adult industry is an industry like any other, with its own rules and dynamics. And above all, I would like to see greater awareness of the importance of a comprehensive and inclusive sex education, which helps people develop a healthy and respectful relationship with their sexuality.

What’s one misconception about your work that you’d like to clear up? If any.

One of the biggest misconceptions I’d like to clear up concerns the motivations that led me to work in this industry. It’s often assumed that people involved in this world are driven solely by personal perversions. My experience has been entirely different. Despite being Italian, I have a strong American cultural component, where the approach to work is often that of “business is business.”
I was initially drawn to this industry out of curiosity. However, I soon discovered that it is a complex and dynamic market that requires the same skills and professionalism as any other sector. My passion has focused on developing innovative and technologically advanced solutions in order to offer a high-quality product to consumers. Implementation requires technical, organizational, and project management skills. Finally, it is essential to know how to communicate and promote your product or service.
Marketing plays a crucial role in reaching the target audience and generating sales. Personally, I believe that it is difficult to excel in all three of these areas. Each of them requires specific skills and a different approach. For this reason, I strongly believe in the importance of collaborating with complementary professionals. I am extremely excited about the future of Adult Biz Network. I have invested a great deal of energy into creating this platform, which aims to become a reference point for all industry operators.
